The 2019 CHANT Chargers Awards Dinner was held December 17th at Waterbrook Bible Fellowship. It was a festive time with players, coaches, parents, siblings, sponsors and friends of the program celebrating the success of the season and the growth that each of the players had. For Junior High, Elliot Crouch, took home the Player of the Year honors for the 2nd year in a row. Elliot totaled more than 2,000 yards and scored 40 touchdowns. For varsity, Shane Walker, closed out his high school career by being honored with the CHANT MVP award. Jonathan Lorenz earned Offensive MVP and Tyler Widmer and Patrick Crouch took home the Defensive MVP honors. Nathan Connor, was honored with the CHANT Character Award which is given to the player who best exemplifies Christ through his attitude, preparation, work and leadership on the team.
